Instructions for Electronic Visa Application


Apply for Visa online for all purposes of your visit to Thailand:- Tourism, Transit, Business, Employment, Official, Education and Others in Thailand

Step to Apply

Before you apply, applicants should learn the following important information on visa application and prepare all documents which are needed.

Step 1 :- Register and Create Account in Visa Online through
www.thaiembassy.sg/visaonline
(if you have never applied for visa online before)

Step 2 :- Log in to Visa Online and complete Application Form for Visa online

Step 3 :- Applicant needs to scan or taking photos or type all required documents in an electronic file.

Then attach all these required files with your application visa online. The Embassy accepts those files in several file format e.g. pdf, jpg, doc or docx, xls or xlsx, ppt or pps, txt

Applicant's photo must be in jpeg, jpg, and png format and has been taken within 6 months before visa application

Step 4 :- Once the applicant submits the application form and all required documents in Visa online. Then your status will be in "Submit" status. The applicant must wait for your application to be reviewed.

Step 5 : - After the application has been reviewed by the authority concerned, the application status will be shown as "Reviewed" status. In case the application is not completed or require additional relevant documents or information, it will show more required document in "Comment Box". You are needed to access to your application and then submit the additional required documents. After additional documents has been submitted, the applicant's status will be "Reviewed" status.

Step 6 :- After the authority concerned reviews and changes the applicant's status to "Reviewed", the applicant will need to print the application form and all required documents. (Adobe reader needs to be installed in your device in order to print out the application form), bring them along with the applicant's passport (Passport must be validated at least 6 months before expiration) and pay Visa fee in cash at the Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore during opening hours. : Monday to Friday (except Embassy's holidays): 09.15am - 11.30am only.

Most applicants require to present 1 Visa Application form and 1 photograph, except nationalities of certain countries:
                
  • 2 application forms and 2 photographs: China (for Tourist Visa/Transit Visa applicants only), Nigeria

  • 3 application forms and 3 photographs: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Cameroon, China (for Non-Immigrant Visa applicants), Central Africa Republic, Congo, Congo DRC, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Guinea, India, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Palestine, Sao Tome and Principe, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Yemen

  • 4 application forms and 4 photographs: Iran

Note: In case your application with all supportive documents are not complied with immigration regulations, the applicant will be in "Rejected" status. Then the application will be dismissed. The applicant may consider starting the application process again.

Step 7:- Once the application's status shows "Approved" status . the applicant will be able to come to collect his or her visa and passport at the Royal Thai Embassy, Monday to Friday (except Embassy's holidays): 02.00pm - 03.00 pm only.
